When the chargers output increases to 50% of the rated current outputs (equalization threshold), the mode change from floating to equalization and it remains there until the output's current decreases below 50%.

Once the equalization voltage is reach, the current decreases gradually until it reach the current threshold limit of the equalization mode. This threshold is 50% of the maximal Ioad value. At this load level, the voltage falls to the floating voltage value.
